CASPer reports real test results in quartiles: Q1 (bottom 25%), Q2, Q3, and Q4 (top 25%). The Key2MD practice tool gives each response a quartile estimate using the same framework Dan uses in live coaching sessions.

The AI feedback includes a quartile estimate, a written critique of your response structure and argument quality, one specific improvement you could make, and a suggested model approach.

Your answer (excerpt): "I would message Sam directly and say it is not fair to be credited for work they did not do, when the rest of us put in the hours. I would tell them that if they want their name on it, they need to contribute something tonight. If they refuse, I would email the tutor and explain the situation so the rest of us are not marked down. The people who actually did the work have to come first."

You reached a fair outcome, but you decided why Sam disappeared before you asked. Leading with curiosity instead of a verdict is the gap between Q3 and Q4 here.

How it read across competencies

Problem solving

A clear plan with a sensible escalation path. You knew the steps - that part is genuinely strong.

Communication

Direct, but "it is not fair" and "work they did not do" land as an accusation. The message corners Sam before they can explain.

Collaboration

You moved straight to an ultimatum and reporting. Little attempt to keep the team intact for the last night of a shared task.

Equity

Fair to the people who worked - but you assumed Sam's silence was laziness without checking for a hidden barrier (illness, caring load, crisis).
